Mongoose Bodyworks offers Pilates sessions in Soho, in a tranquil and focused setting. All levels are welcome. Sessions are 55 minutes and are taught on both the equipment and the mat. The studio is dedicated to teaching students a deeper understanding of the body. We focus on using the mind to create deep physical changes in our bodies. Our goals are also embodied in our namesake the mongoose. Mongooses are known for their flexibility, strength and intelligence. Mongoose Bodyworks offers a variety of ways to experience the Pilates Method.
The most popular sessions at this new york city studio are the Private Pilates Sessions. These sessions are one on one and provide the most individual attention.
Pilates Sessions can also be taken as duets; in this case the session is shared with another client. We find this works best if you find a friend to be your duet partner.
SMALL GROUP EQUIPMENT CLASSES
We offer small group classes of 3-4 students. These classes are open
to all levels and require that the student makes an effort to learn
