Mongoose Bodyworks offers
Pilates
sessions in Soho, in a tranquil and focused setting. All levels are welcome. Sessions are 55 minutes and are taught on both the equipment and the mat. The studio is dedicated to teaching students a deeper understanding of the body. We focus on using the mind to create deep physical changes in our bodies. Our goals are also embodied in our namesake the mongoose. Mongooses are known for their flexibility, strength and intelligence. Mongoose Bodyworks offers a variety of ways to experience the Pilates Method. For more information about our approach, click here.

Private Sessions

The most popular sessions at this New York City studio are the Private Pilates Sessions. These sessions are one on one and provide the most individual attention.

Duet Sessions

Pilates Sessions can also be taken as duets; in this case the session is shared with another client. We find this works best if you find a friend to be your duet partner.

Reformer Trio

Our Reformer Trios have a maximum of three students, are taught primarily on the Pilates Reformer and are open to all levels. This class will provide a well-rounded workout that builds strength, flexibility and body awareness. Although it is not mandatory we do suggest a minimum of one private session before signing up for Trios, especially if you are new to Pilates

Group Equipment Class Of 4

We offer small group classes of 3-4 students. These classes are open to all levels and require that the student makes an effort to learn the exercises. Although it is not mandatory we do suggest a minimum of one private session before signing up for our group classes, especially if you are new to Pilates.
